Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Family Book Club: Celebration Ideas
Updated: Sep 16, 2019
You’ve finished reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J K Rowling, and now it’s time to celebrate! We’ve got a couple of fun ideas to inspire you.
One of our favourite things to do when celebrating the end of a read aloud is to recreate a meal from the book. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone has plenty of inspiration, and we’ve chosen one of our favourite ideas from the Wizarding World to share with you below!
1 can cream soda
2t caramel sauce
a dollop of whipped cream!
Pour the creaming soda and caramel sauce into a big glass mug.
Stir very well.
Top with a dollop of whipped cream - dee-li-cious!!
prep time: 5 minutes
makes 1 serving
some fun and fitting decorations
Print out our Hogwarts House Banner templates (from the resources page) and get each member of the Book Club to colour and decorate their house banner - colour and hang around the room!
Ask book club members if they'd like to dress as their favourite Wizarding World character!
We’re keeping it super simple with this Book Club celebration and suggesting that you watch the movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001) once you’ve finished reading the book.
Of course, the world has been enchanted with the world of Harry Potter for over twenty years now, so if you’re keen to have a bigger celebration – maybe even a Harry Potter party (!?) then look no further than our Harry Potter Pinterest Board for extra inspiration!!
